The Way I See It: Filmmaking Is About Feeling, Not Flash

Everyone’s got their own creative journey.
For some, it’s about telling stories. For others, it’s about selling something. Is one more valid than the other? Not to me. The truth is, storytelling works when it’s real — and every person receives and delivers it a little differently.
What matters is purpose. Honesty. Passion. If you're selling something and you actually believe in it, people can feel that. Same goes for telling a personal story. We know when something clicks. And we know when it's just someone reading lines with no soul behind it.
As a filmmaker and creative, I don’t just hit record. I listen. I look for the emotion. The why behind your brand. Whether we’re creating something personal or promotional, it needs to connect — otherwise, what’s the point?
I believe in approaching every project with personality. As a founder, I don’t just want to like your product — I want to like you. I want to relate. I want to feel like I’m part of something with meaning.
You could be pitching me a burger, and even if I didn’t eat meat, I want you to convince me that your burger might just change my mind. That’s connection. That’s storytelling.
And that’s what I bring to every shoot.
