Your Content Isn't the Problem. Your Starting Point Is.

July 6, 2026 · Eric Sattler

Most business owners start content by asking: what should I post?

That's the wrong question. It leads to content that fills a calendar but doesn't do anything. Built around availability, not intention.

The right starting point is: what do I need someone to understand about my business that they don't understand right now?

That question has a specific answer. And that answer tells you exactly what to film, what to say, and what to leave out.

If people don't understand what you actually do, film that. If people don't understand why your price is what it is, film that. If people don't trust you yet, film the work itself. Not a talking head explaining the work. The actual work.

Content isn't marketing. It's evidence. The best content shows people something real and lets them make a decision. It doesn't persuade. It demonstrates.

Before you post anything else, answer this honestly: what does my audience not know about my business that, if they knew it, would change how they saw me?

Start there. Film that. Everything else follows.

Your story deserves the right eye.

Every project starts with a conversation. Tell Eric what you're building.
